Consider the following quote from Carly Fiorina (former executive president/chair of Hewlett-Packard Co).
“The goal is to turn data into information, and information into insight.”
A great quote, and one which really defines what Data Science is all about…
Its using data, and extracting information from it, and then using that information to gain valuable insights from it.
It is also important to note here, that the insights should also be “actionable” and which will provide benefit in some way.
But how do we gain those insights from the data ? …….. by utilising a number of techniques/tools/languages.
